1. Roll the earplug between your fingers until it is the size of a pencil eraser.

2. Pull your ear up and back to open the ear canal.

3. Insert the earplug into the ear canal until it is flush with the ear opening.

4. Hold the earplug in place until it expands and forms a seal.

5. Check for a good seal by covering and uncovering your ears to see if there is a difference in sound.
