2. Adjust the paper thickness adjustment lever to the highest position.

3. Move the print head to the middle right of the printer for easy installation or removal of the ribbon cartridge.

4. Rotate the ribbon tension knob in the direction of the arrow before installing the ribbon to tighten it.

5. Place the left and right cylinders of the ribbon on the slots of the side plate and press down to secure the ribbon.

6. Insert the ribbon between the print head and the ribbon spacer and tighten it by manually moving the print head or rotating the ribbon tension knob.

7. Adjust the paper thickness adjustment lever to the appropriate position and close the transparent cover before turning on the printer to start printing.
